
Gemma Genazano who lives between Barcelona and New York, has captivated audiences from the festivals of Europe to New York’s Blue Note and Madison Square Garden.
Daughter of Italian actor, Oswaldo Genazzano and granddaughter of Italian actress, Gemma Bedinni, who worked with the legendary Federico Fellini. Gemma Genazzano, born in Barcelona, studied piano at the Liceu Conservatoy of Barcelona, and began singing Jazz, performing at Festivals and clubs around Europe.
She is a former scholarship recipient of the pretigious university “Berklee College of Music” where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
After singing with Gospel choirs for three years, she moved to New York where she immersed herself in the New York Soul music scene and began collaborating with Marlon Saunders, singer for Bobby McFerrin, Sting, Michael Jackson, etc… They have performed together from European festivals to the prestigious Blue Note, Madison Square Garden, and Joe’s Pub in New York, creating her CD “Si Me Quieres/If You Love Me”.
