Keyboardist and Producer Jim Couchenour on True Artistry

Keyboardist and Composer Jim Couchenour (Coke -in-hour) officially integrated SounDoctrine in more ways than three! His melodic refinement striding along our all out funk fusion provided the perfect contrast. He also earned the title of “Band Balladeer” by crafting some of the most enduring tunes we’ve experienced since our inception. His incredible compositions, “Sacrifice,” “Smallmouth Bass” and “Boys in The Wood” (Endurance) all entered National Airplay on The Weather Channel during the same quarter and to date, Jim now has a total of nine tunes in rotation on that channel.

His debut CD, Living Colour was released to rave reviews back in 2007. He has followed up with establishing a musical brand entitled “Quiet Canvas.” Jim has also established himself as a very transparent actor, having recently beared his soul in a One Man Show about his battle of overcoming the stygma of Tourette’s Syndrome. The paly “Me & Myself” opened to stellar reviews. His comical genius has continued to emerge as Jim has helped establish a comedy troupe in Columbiana Ohio called “Main Street Madness”
